Tuck in the top: This option is less casual and always the most defining. It gives a classic style but also keeps you warm. To create further waist definition try adding a belt to the tucked-in look.
Layer a cardigan over a top or blouse: Tuck a top or blouse into a skirt or trousers and layer over with a cardigan. Cardigans look great with A-line skirts whereas most lengths of cardigans work just as well with straight or pencil skirts. You can leave the cardigans loose or partially buttoned. Longer-length cardigans generally look best unbuttoned.
